Shipping Rates and Policies

U.S. SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY

All orders received before 3pm PST Monday-Friday will begin processing the same day and can take up to 2 business days.  Orders received after 3pm PST on Friday will begin processing the following Monday.  After the order has been processed, all domestic orders will ship through USPS First Class Mail within 1-2 business days (excluding Holidays and weekends).  Shipping and handling takes approximately 4-5 business days (up to 7 business days), but most orders are usually received within 4 business days after order has been shipped*.  All items are subject to pending credit verification.

U.S. EXPRESS OVERNIGHT SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY

All orders must be received before 12pm PST Monday-Friday in order to be shipped out the same day for overnight delivery.  Orders received after 12pm PST will go out the following business day.  If you place your order on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday and select Overnight Express, the order cannot be shipped until the next business day.  Your order will arrive between 1-2 business days after it is shipped.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & HANDLING POLICY

We now offer international shipping! Priority shipping and handling takes approximately 6-10 business days (up to 14 business days), but most orders are usually received within 8 business days after order has been shipped*. First Class mail takes approximately 10-20 business days.  All items are subject to pending credit verification.

 

  • First Class Mail without Tracking (2-4 weeks)
    • $14.95 FLAT RATE
  • Priority Mail with Tracking (1-2 weeks)
    • $25.95 FLAT RATE

 

International customers (with the exception of CAN, NZ, and AUS) must have a verified PayPal account in order for us to ship to your country.

     

    TRACKING YOUR ORDER

    A tracking number will be provided to you via email once your item is shipped, therefore, we are not responsible if your package is lost or stolen once it leaves our office.

    We also cannot be responsible for the following if there is valid proof of delivery: 

    • Items not received in the event that you are out of town.
    • We are provided with an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.

    If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email within 3 to 5 business days from your order date, please do not hesitate to contact us at orders@socialbutterflyhouse.com.

    Please be aware that First Class Int'l Mail does not offer a tracking and confirmation number. Therefore, we are unable to take responsibility for any packages lost or stolen if you choose this shipping option.

     

    SHIPPING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE 

    The customer is responsible for any shipping fees associated with the purchase and/or return of merchandise.  This includes:

    • Packages refused by the customer upon delivery for an order that has been placed.
    • Items being sent back to SBH for a return or exchange.
    • Orders lost due to an incorrect/incomplete address given by the customer. 
    • Unclaimed or unreceived packages when there has been valid proof of delivery.

     

    OTHER CONSIDERATIONS (*)

    • Credit card authorization and address verification must be received prior to your order being processed.  This may take up to 2 business days.
    • If one or several of your items are out of stock, we will notify you via email within 24 hours and you will have the option to receive a store credit or refund on these items.  This may take an additional 2 to 3 business days to process and ship the original in-stock items that were ordered.
    • Please take holidays into consideration when estimating your delivery time.
    • Saturday deliveries and all other special shipping requests may be possible through contacting Customer Service.
